A Deeper Look At Our Time Together

The Infinitely Empowered program is crafted to foster a nurturing and supportive space where teachers-in-training can develop the following:

• A deep understanding of prenatal yoga, including safe and effective asanas, breathwork, and meditation techniques tailored to the specific needs of pregnant bodies.

• A trauma-informed approach that recognizes and respects the diverse emotional and psychological experiences of pregnancy, creating safer spaces for all participants.

• A focus on perinatal mental health, providing teachers with tools and practices to support emotional well-being during pregnancy and postpartum, addressing the unique challenges individuals face during these stages.

  • The ability to foster community, building strong connections within prenatal yoga classes that encourage a sense of belonging and mutual support.

• A foundation in Ayurvedic nutrition, understanding how ancient principles of holistic health can support well-being during pregnancy and beyond.

Building a strong, supportive community is essential in prenatal yoga, as expectant parents often benefit from shared experiences and mutual support. Pregnancy can be an emotionally and physically intense time, and some individuals may come to the practice with trauma histories that require sensitivity and awareness. Perinatal mental health is crucial for the well-being of expectant parents during pregnancy and postpartum. Ayurvedic principles offer valuable insights into how to nourish the body, especially during pregnancy, when the demands on a parents’ physical and energetic systems are heightened.
